My father had a poker for a while. I claim it was a Grabow - probably a Westbrook coupon pipe. I have always liked that shape despite the smallish bowl.

The smallish bowl is a problem you could drill down on.

The smallish bowl is a problem you could drill down on.

I have modified a few Grabows to have wider chambers, but they were all topped to begin with. I hate topped bowls if I can tell they have been topped. It is as if someone else taking off wood gives me permission. The answer to a topped bowl is rimcake, but it is hard for me to get enough smokes in to make much progress there. The wider bowl helps with getting enough smokes in.
