Kirsten Generation 1 For Sale

The last of my New Year Spring Cleaning. Maybe. This is a Generation 1 Kirsten PATS & PATS PENDING. No O-Rings. This is perfect machined contact fit. All orginal parts are in perfect condition and the bowl is lightly smoked with no cake. No damage to the stem. Pipe dates to 1938-1958

5.5 inches long

1.25 inch bowl height

This is a beautiful collectors piece and/or a fantastic, lightweight smoker for the Metal Pipe Enthusiast. Theres my sales pitch.

That's the long shank version. Those are especially rare. I have 3 or I would want it. That is a very fair price too.

Hey, it smokes great, it has the pre-war aluminum condensor, and it's rare. You can get all kinds of bowls for it. Unless you are giving up pipe smoking I can't imagine why you would sell it. Does that help?,

I think i’ll hold onto it. Maybe bring it to a pipe show if I ever make it to one. No one has ever showed any interest in it. Thanks for the info @Ronv69

Have you ever smoked it? It takes getting used to, but they do reward you with a good, cool and dry smoke. Can't gurgle. If you think it might be wet you just pull off the end cap and dump it.

I have a few times. Easy clean up with the ram-rod and paper towel. Its more of a collectors piece now since its old and I don’t see many Gen 1
