Cutting and carving by hand to keep the dust down to a minimum
Maybe if it warms up outside this weekend I’ll set up a table near the neighbors trees and let the dust fly :lol:

Oh you’d be surprised how many times I’ve altered pipes I have laying around here because I always think things can get better - they are all just parts till they get right

The router sled worked like a champ! Gave it good work out yesterday. I think we’ll call it a success.

Definitely a success! Shadow makes it look like you're taking damn near 1/4" off that hunk

Dang! It does. We ended up going 3/32” for the bulk of the removal and then 1/32” of the final pass. That’s my buddy John’s hands.
