I am looking for suggestions for a good Blue Grass cd.
I might pick up the Oh Brother where Art Thou soundtrack but I am still wanting to try some other stuff.
Any suggestions?
PSF Song of the Day
Anything from the Del McCoury band for traditional bluegrass. Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder. There are tons of new bands as well. Lou Reid and Carolina. Sam Bush. Tony Rice. Steeldrivers. Man there’s more than I can name. Flatt and Scruggs. Bill Monroe.

Wow, I have no idea for a you tube channel. I just listen to Bluegrass Junction on Sirius.
Go to Merlefest.org and look at the lineups over the years. That will show you some new names and some old established bands. I used to go every year but life and work have kept me away for the last three or four.
Look up JD Crowe and the New South, Kreuger Bros, New Grass Revival, Claire Lynch and Allison Krauss and Union Station.

I'm between moods today so I decided to combine the best of two worlds: Momoiro Clover Z vs. Kiss!

I run a small hotel in New Orleans. It's in Louisiana, in case you're thinking of another New Orleans I've never heard of.

The Oh brother CD is stellar , it really is .
Anything from the Union station guys is great , imo . Alison Krauss .... forget about it , I am in complete love with her . Her older stuff is more traditional and out of sight . The modern stuff is less traditional but no less amazing , just a bit more modern and so fantastic . Union station us one of my drop dead favorite bands of all time . They are " slaves to the song " and it shows . Theyre great
Feast your ears on this ... Interestingly enough ... Putin is playing flute in this one

This is bluegrass with an Irish slant that is excellent
