Let's talk about matches some more.

I am out of zippo fuel. For the last two weeks I have been using kitchen matches to light my pipes and cigars because I discovered I have five big boxes of them.

I do not prefer matches over a lighter one way of the other as far as flavor or lighting technique goes. I do, however, dislike all the spent matches that gather in my ashtray.

Go buy some lighter fluid. And a couple Bics for backup.

I got the white gas from Wal Mart camping section, a lot cheaper that way. I use a zippo all the time.

I miss the strike anywhere matches of my youth. I thought I was cool lighting the match with my thumbnail.

I used to strike'em on my zipper fly as a youth. Then one day it struck me how that might not be such a good idea...

I use kitchen matches most of the time. Prefer'em. But they do make a clutter.
