I have a GBD Prince (London Made No. 362). On the stem along with the Brass GBD roundel
are the words "Hand Cut" engraved, not printed. I have never seen this before on a GBD pipe or any other for that matter.
It is otherwise an unremarkable looking stem, straight 3 1/2" long
Anyone have thoughts?

Gbd had some stems that were hand cut. I'm sure someone can explain more thoroughly

Yes they are wheat pennies, my grandfather always called them feather pennies so it stuck. He left me a nice little collection of pennies. I have them dating as far back as the teens and I have a bunch of steel pennies as well.houtenziel wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 4:50 pmWheat penny? I thought maybe I was wrong in thinking they were wheat for a minute.. the more I look at them the more they look like feathers and not wheat.Bruyere_Royale wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 4:59 pmYes they are wheat pennies, my grandfather always called them feather pennies so it stuck.houtenziel wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 4:50 pmWheat penny?
