Some years ago I read on another forum with a similar topic that Lee Van Cleef's neighbor told the writer of the article that Lee smoked Carter Hall mostly.
I've never smoked Carter Hall a day in my life! ;)
Try it, you may like it.

I had never tried it until I joined the forums. I think it is great stuff.

Just ordered SWRA from 4noggins since you fellas talk so much about it. Hopefully my dear wife enjoys the room note as she hasn't been too keen on me imbibing in the pipe more often lately. Wonder what famous people smoked aros?

This is a great aro, and for the most part I am not a big fan. I hesitate to speak for my wife - much less yours. Mine does not like strong aro room notes as a rule, and she likes latakia for sure. I have a daughter who likes the room note of Orientals.

Good luck and I hope you like it at least!
