Arrived in yesterday’s mail, an Old West Briar from Tim West. He’s selling these on his ebay store. He takes new-old-stock Algerian briar stummels, fits them with new stems and finishes the pipes. The pipes come with vulcanite stems but I asked him if he could fit a particular pipe that caught my eye with a lucite stem and he said “Sure, no problem, no additional charge”. This pipe is approximately a group 3, very lightweight, perfect draw and fill free. Best of all, total price including shipping, $62. Smoking it as I write this, perfect!

Nice grain, looks like it's drilled perfectly, personalized stem request and affordable price - pipe dreams, my friend, pipe dreams. :buddy:
