Greetings from RVA,
I recently was bitten by the TAD bug and got some SPC Rainer Levant, before doing research. Since my order is in and on the way, I started to look into the blend only to find nothing. Well not nothing, but a very little. No information on SPC website or youtube and just a handful of reviews on tobacco seller sites Has anyone here tried it? What your thoughts?
Did I punt this into the stands?
Thanks, 'Squatch.
Has anyone tried SPC Rainer Levant

That is the most I have seen. I figured that there would so much more on the web; is it new?

Just wait until you try it then right a review here. It can get bad reviews and you'll like it or visa versa..SasquatchoftheEast wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2019 1:20 pm Greetings from RVA,

I have a tin open (amongst way too many open tins/jars) on my smoking shelf. I would call it a lighter Balkan relative to Plum Pudding or Bengal Slices, more in the Potlatch vein but with something extra; perhaps anise?
I like the way it smokes and I’m guessing you won’t be disappointed.
I find I’m a fan of all the SPC blends I’ve tried. Joe Lankford is a wizard.

It's good, mild, slow and easy to smoke. There is a mustiness that I am not quite sure if I like... I also don't know enough to identify the types of flavors, but I think you are right an anise flavor. I will have to try Plum Pudding and see what the difference is, Thanks everyone I do not regret it (I have two tins cellering, too).kxg wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2019 2:06 pm I have a tin open (amongst way too many open tins/jars) on my smoking shelf.
