He takes new-old-stock Algerian briar stummels, fits them with new stems and finishes the pipes. The pipes come with vulcanite stems but I asked him if he could fit a particular pipe that caught my eye with a lucite stem and he said “Sure, no problem, no additional charge”. This pipe is approximately a group 3, very lightweight, perfect draw and fill free. Best of all, total price including shipping, $62. Smoking it as I write this, perfect!

Just ordered the same shape and series pipe that was the first pipe I ever bought. Originally bought at Mallard Tobacconist in Syracuse, NY which is unfortunately no more. I think I bought it in 2006. This one is unsmoked too! :D
