Look what's new at Missouri Meerschaum. It's their Bully 2019 which is made to celebrate their 150th Anniversary. Just ordered mine.

Man, I hate to be a negative nancy, but does anyone else think these look kinda half-assed compared to the corndogs of old?

Absolutely. I posted about them last weekend but have zero interest in buying one. The shank on their display model looks like they outsourced them to a beaver to gnaw down. And don't get me started on that stamp on top of it.

I'd also love to hear their reasoning for turning the groove in a lathe but flat spotting the bowl taper on a sander

All I am sayin.. Anyone who buys one of those things better not say one effin' bad word about brylon. You could put a light at the end of that bit and land an aircraft it's so dayglo. Honestly once Wooda gets fully tooled up, I'd bet he could do it proper.. wink wink, nudge nudge.

I'm sure they are just dialing in their approach for the real corndog release. A little R&D if you will...
