Good evening!
Currently enjoying some Erinmore Mixture in a Charles Towne Cobbler. This is my third or fourth attempt at Corn Cobs and it looks like it's finally paying off. I am really starting to enjoy these pipes and the distinctive taste they give off.
I have been extra careful while breaking them in, smoking them really slowly. As soon as the pipe was getting a bit hot, I was putting it down, letting it cool off some good and resumed when appropriate. I also smoked the tobacco all the way down, well as much as I could, anyway.
I think corn cobs are more fragile than we think and believe the extra carefulness I provided them this time around during the break-in process made a whole world of difference.
