Home early from the office...had to take the Old Folks to the doctor. Now fed and watered, I'm on the porch enjoying Half & Half in this Kaywoodie Shellcraft lovat. Hot, strong, milky tea on the side.

102 today in sunny southeast Texas, feels like 111.
Now smoking a bowl of MacBaren Vanilla Flake in a Mr. Brog pear wood #43 Kentucky small pot. I think this is the third time I have smoked this pipe after owning it for 5 years. Smokes great, I just have too many other choices.
Iced tea on the side.
God and Texas!

FWIW, I am sometimes on my second pipe by 4:28. It is a good time to get things done.
i wonder what the world looks like at 4 a.m.
It's nice, all of the slackers are still sleeping.
I am often on my second pipe at 4:38 am. It is a great time to get work done.
I've always been an early bird, there is no rush to get things done at those hours.

Smoking Cannon plug in a old Parker Pot and drinking the mandatory pint of seltzer. I'd complain but who'd listen...
