I was out with friends at a tasting there and I didn't know what it was until after I ate it. It was good, but when I went back a few weeks later for dinner I passed on it. It was a popular menu item.

Picayune in a Viscount pot
So I gave my brother the Ehrlich pot, and got him to try OJK and Picayune. He had tried a pipe for a while and had one once when I was there for a visit. He got rid of it really because pipe shops would insist that what a new pipe smoker really wanted was the house brand relabeled Lane 1Q. He said that cigars always had some flavor and a little nicotine. The pipe tobacco they sold him did not seem to have either. He got rid of the pipe he had.
He likes the OJK and the Picayune. I gave him the link to SmokingPipes and made a few other recommendations. I gave him a care package with an ounce each of OJK and Picayune. We will see if he expands his horizons a little.

He was in a mood to talk about his Navy experience for some reason. We talked a little about our father. My brother has never tried Half&Half.Kevin Keith wrote: ↑Tue Jul 31, 2018 8:08 am
