You should go over to the "Bad Pipe Poetry" thread. Some real gems over there :)
Can someone find the link to this? I would like to read it. I vaguely remember it. I am sure it's a hoot.
I forgot about that one
It's even more ancient history than this resurrected thread. We can go into the Wayback Machine when this forum was just getting its sea legs. I will look but there is no guarantee that I will find it.

I remember @Houtenziel. He was a stand up guy, and I miss him here.

The aro is delicious. In winter, it is like sipping on a Dutch liqueur on a quiet evening by the tavern stove with old acquaintances. In the summer, it is like sipping Dutch liqueur on a topless beach in Cancun.

The aro has a little extra oomph thanks to the topping. That is why chicks dig SWRA over SWR.

If I get a chance this week I’ll stove some SWRA this week, just enjoyed a bowl while driving to the store this morning

What's your method for stoving?

It’s in the oven as we speak!
I use a mason jar and cover it with tin foil held on by the ring.
200 degrees for 4 hours.

1/2 gallon jar of mix of end of bags and tins, Erin Go Braugh Irish Whiskey, BR Cherry Liquor, Amphora, and SWRA are being stoved,
At the end of 4 hours I’ll just shut the oven off and let them cool down in there till morning then pull and use a canning lid to replace the foil under the ring.

That's the way I've always done it except for the leaving over night part (but I don't know what time it is where you are either)

I’m on Eastern time zone, so it’s 2:36 right now. I just leave them sit till they are cool. I could pull them sooner if I want to.
Or the wife wants to bake something.

I just buy a tub of SWRA and smoke it until it is empty. It takes about three weeks, if I recall. correctly. I haven't done it in a while, what with inflation and being poor, and whatnot.

Relatable. Unless I found a pouch on closeout in a local store, I'm passing and smoking what I have.

Should probably also state that I've never stoved SWRA, only Virginia's that needed help
