Soda recommendations, please!

I really enjoy plain sparkling water when smoking a pipe. Gives the bubble feeling without interfering with the tobacco flavor. Either that or coffee with tobacco is always a nice pairing.

If we're talking soda, I like Diet Pepsi and Diet Root Beer on rare occasions.

What is better, Mr. Pibb or Squirt?

I know they are both very different. I don't want to put up a poll, only discuss. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I think both brands have mostly regional appeal. I have yet to meet a New Englander who has liked either.

I prefer fountain sodas overall but I'll choose glass over cans over plastic.

I keep Coke for an occasional pop, and in case someone stops by and wants to ruin a perfectly good glass of bourbon.

Only time I drink soda is mixed with Moonshine for some extra taste. Dr. Pepper, Root Beer are my preferance.

I really like Squirt, but I haven't seen any for sale in years. I probably shouldn't drink it because I can't have grapefruit. Long time Dr Pepper fan. Mr Pibb is a pale imitation.
