Lot of love out there for the McRib
For me it is a no-go or a McNo
My diet is best suited for a monk in a hair-shirt

It was a McRib sandwich paired with a six pack of Olympia beer that made me take a hard look at my life. The next day I sold my car, moved out of the flophouse, quit my job, bought a Greyhound ticket for a city I had never been to, and never looked back.
Thank you, McRib, for showing me how far I had fallen.

Never had one. Won't.
And since someone brought up the McRib, we should also cover the McNugget (not starting a new thread in their name). Remember getting them with my father around the time they first came out.
Now, during his entire lifetime, my father or a family member raised, caught or hunted the vast majority of the meat he ate (75% minimum) so when he took a bite of one of those chicken 'things' his native palate immediately rejected it and he spit it out the window of his truck, thereafter referring to them as 'blasphemy.' I agreed with him at the time. They had a kind of petroleum-like aftertaste to them.
To this day every time I see a kid eating those (apparently they eat nothing else) I think of the old man and how right he was.
BLASPHEMY!
