It's very expensive to make a good revolver and they aren't in demand by the younger generations.
I admire them but I'm too old to enjoy it now.
Dan Wesson 5 day set
I know. You never want to have competing models in your product offering. Colt has much higher brand recognition and a larger customer base. Dan Wesson is a niche portion of the high end double action market. But the old ones are out there. The Monson made models are held at the highest esteem.

I’m a blued steel and wood guy. Love my revolvers. But you are right. Tupperware guns are the rage. I have run across one or two .357 Maximums and .32 H&R Mags but they are usually single barrel guns. Seems like the .22s and .445s are usually single barrels as well. I’ve never seen a .41 or .32-20. I keep my eyes open but if the person knows what they have the price will be too deep for my pockets.

I just don't understand that attitude.

I'm probably going to sell it. I have a 223 bolt action and I just built this one as a "getting used to retirement " project. It's on a a Ruger lower and I put a bunch of special parts in it that I don't remember, but I don't think that I will ever shoot it. The 450 Bushmaster is more fun.
