All kidding aside, this is about the only thing I can think of that I’d seriously consider buying.

They're pretty nice. If I didn't already have 4 times as many handguns as my family has hands...

I saw those too, then S&W just released their M&P in 10mm. I need either of these guns like a hole in the head...but I need them!

The Browning designed 1935 Highpower was one beautiful pistol. Back in the day I have owned Belgian production, Canadian Inglis, German occupation pistols, and even a clone made in Argentina. I don't have one now much to my regret. Springfield Armory quality is top notch judging by the 1911AI pistols that have passed through my hands in the past. If I could afford it one of these would find a home with me right quick. My advise is buy one if you can swing it these days.

I have a Star 30M, which is like a combination of the 35 and a CZ 75, and heavy duty. It's paid for and shoots great.

So my LGS doesn’t have one, hasn’t seen one and he was honest and said he didn’t know they existed. What’s a fellow to do? Aaaah - Gun Broker! People are amazing. Springfield says $699 msrp. There are auctions bid up OVER $1000 already with days left. No thanks. I have waited this long; it doesn’t hurt my feelings to wait longer.
