Speaking of bar food, has anybody tried a Blind Robin? A dried rotton fish in plastc wrap that reeked of a run down bait shop at high noon in mid summer. I saw them in a few dives I frequented in ancient times and actually tried a nibble one time. Only a nibble and only one time. I could still taste it the next day. Too much beer is a dangerous thing in more ways than one.

Was that in Saigon? Sounds like breakfast there. lol

No, not in Saigon, but they have some kind of rotton fish sauce over there that I have thankfully forgot the name of that smells just like a liquified Blind Robin. I got my rotton fish baptism in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.

Blind Robins and pickled eggs and bologna were staples at a shot/beer joint we used to frequent as younger gentlemen. Place smelled of urine, too.
