I thought I'd missed the joke! ... Yeah, the plate has deep blue accents but the tin is sort of salmon pink colour. Are you colour blind?Tsal wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 12:44 pmYou're not missing anything I just couldn't tell. The plate has blue accents.
Tinned Seafood (and other deliciousness)
Store brand sardines. They may as well be generic.

Colour is of the European spelling.

I tend to do the following. Blend one tin of tuna or mackerel with a few tablespoons of cottage cheese, fresh herbs (parsley or coriander is good), the zest and a squeeze of 1 lemon or/and lime and plenty of pepper to give it some bite. It works with a fork and bowl if you can't be bothered to clean a blender after. Makes a lovely fish pate that goes perfectly on seeded toast
I smoked a large bowl of 1792 and didn't have a clue what you were on about last night!

I’m gonna make this, substituting mayonnaise, or miracle whip for the cottage cheese.ric03 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 12:42 amI tend to do the following.
