Had a Shiner Bock last night with Jagerschnitzel, hot potato salad, hot sweet-sour purple cabbage and spaetzel. I was confident in ordering a Shiner because we were 30 miles from the brewery.

Shiner on Tap in Texas is one of the best experiences of my beer drinking

It was draft which was wonderful. It was the first Shiner draft I've had in the past decade. I was surprised the waitress asked me which. I was expecting her if wanted it in a mug. I stuttered a couple of times while I thought around the question. I would have had another, but 2 other couples had more German white wine than they could drink, so I had a quarter of a bottle of a German Reisling and a quarter bottle of a German gewürztraminer. The last one had bite.

Shiner fueled part of my college education. Good stuff.

Is there a taste difference between bottle vs can? I never had it in a can.

Same Beer, no taste difference. I buy the screw top cans if I can because I can reseal them, in case the kids are around, and usually the price per oz is a better deal

I always found that soda or any beverage tastes better from a glass bottle than can or plastic.

"Price per oz is a better deal" ?!
