I like to smoke for a while, so I tend toward 50-54 ring gauge at 6-7" inches
That is why I like a Churchill or a Nub. I am more interested in savoring something for an hour.

I get where @Thelonious monkfish is coming from but I smoke one cigar after another absentmindedly, for hours at a time.

@Jlando19 , I agree that a lancero is an excellent smoke. Not too short a smoke but a tasty one. It is just the right balance. I am not Desi Arnez. I do not enjoy smoking cigarillos.

My favorite cigar is a perfecto. I have never found one I haven't liked, but, I don't know if perfectos come in different gauges. I have never paid attention. If I see perfecto, I am in. I have usually smoked these as machine made cigars.

I smoke one after another too, just not Churchills or the same cigar/blend. I get bored of anything within an hour. Having a Churchill is a lot of commitment, those are more for bonfires/camping/lazy summer days, things I sorely miss.

Im a Lonsdale lover .. 6 to 7 inches and a 42 to 44 ring gauge ... though I think a 6.5 x 43 is a traditional Lonsdale , but I dont remember exactly .

See , theres the thing of the more ring guage , the more there is room for a good blend of different leaf. Thats fine but its kinda hyped too , like most everything in the tobacco industry . A lonsdale is kinda in the middle as far as width these days . The current trend is super wide big cigars

+1 on Lonsdales. I also like panatelas and coronas.
Because sometimes the body just wants canned fish. 🦪
