I’m thinking it’s gonna need a good layer of pipe mud in the bottom. The stem is an oak dowel and I made it protrude into the bowl like a cob but there isn’t much holding it all together, just a little glue. Be careful when your drilling the hole. It’s easy to bust the shell into pieces. 🙄. Good thing I had a few extras.
