I’ve smoked about 10-12 bowls in this pipe. The tobaccos I’ve smoked in it are Proper English, English Oriental Supreme, Haunted Bookshop, Old Joe Krantz, Luxury Navy Flake, and Luxury Twist Flake. No aromatics. I just can’t get used to the system aspect, mainly because I like to run a pipe cleaner through a couple times during each smoke. I got this pipe for myself for Christmas, and I’m just not feeling it. I got a Rossi 8320 a few days ago and I like it significantly more than my Peterson. I’m looking to trade for a lower end Neerup, or possibly a plateau poker. I might not bite on the first trade offer, just to keep my options open. This pipe smokes as it should, but just isn’t my style. Image

Does this pipe appeal to you?

That is a nice pipe, but I usually don’t go for long smokes. I’ll keep it in mind if nothing else appeals to me.

wonder why the stem on that 312 seems short? Maybe the older 312s are longer stems

It is a new Peterson, so you might be right.

Its 1.5 inch deep. 3/4 inch bowl bore. No worries

That’s about the same as the Peterson. In that case, I’ll take it.
