Stick the aerator spike on your pipe tool into the cigar. Stir gently to open an air channel.

A pipe tool, whether a pipe knife or a Czech Pipe too, or a nail, is for more than just pipe emergencies. It can adapt to cigar emergencies, too.

If the wrapper is dry, yes, it can crack.
