Exactly! I considered a thunderbird insert but I had bad luck with one years ago and the reviews now seem hit & missChef Benny wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 6:43 amI use thunderbird butane pipe lighter inserts in my zippos.. no taste, but still that satisfying zippo click!Mr Beardsley wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 11:52 am I still use my zippo. I have 2 Thunderbirds and 2 of the brand that begin with a Z. I've had one go bad in 10 years.Mr Beardsley wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 10:51 amExactly! God and Texas!
I got mine a few weeks ago. They work.

Fit and finish is surprisingly nice, no need to file these ones. For less than $12 shipped for the pair I'm not mad. Working well enough already that I tossed the kiribi in a drawer.
God and Texas!

I came across a fantastic deal on a Thunderbird pipe insert and grabbed it. So far it's fantastic. Light years better than the old one I had with the push button ignition but to be fair I've also learned a lot about using decent butane since the first oneRonv69 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 12:31 pmI have 2 Thunderbirds and 2 of the brand that begin with a Z.
