I personally like large pipes.
They hold more tobacco and I like 1 hour plus smoking sessions. I will post a picture of all my tiny pipes later, but I have a question.
Back in the day (2006-2017) I was one of those guys who bought a lot of pipes. I was well into the high grade pipe scene.
At one time I had 7-8 Dunhill pipes. Over the years I have dold all but one, a 1971 "Duhill Shell" which is my birth year.
The pipe says it is a group 2.
It is a tad less than 4.5 inches long and the bowl fits my index finger if I push it in. This is a VERY small pipe.
My question is, does anyone have a group 1 Dunhill?
I would be interested to see how much smaller they are.
I have an idea this pipe might be stamped wrong.
I cannot imagine Dunhill making a smaller pipe.
This "group 2" is laughably small.
Here is a "normal" size pipe...a 6 inch long Peterson along with the Dunhill.
Who digs small pipes?

Small pipes are awesome . At work I generally smoke a small or smaller than when Im off work , which I go bigger mostly . They are easy to clench and pocket . For dense tobacco , they can make it to where you wont have to smoke a half bowl . Hell , pop some of the [ now gone sadly ] McClelland thick flakes is a big pipe and youre looking at a good while , not that thats bad but its just a time thing . Trust me , I dig a big pipe a lot . Really , small med or large .... its a time thing . Sure , you can come back to a pipe and finish it over many lights if you want to .. its not like theyre cigars which are generally horrid to relight
Youd flip out over the MM Short Stop cob ... it would be a Dunhill group 1/2 .. lol , seriously

I'm a fan of small pipes, both overall and chamber dimension. If a chamber is larger than I prefer I'll over cake it
*no dunhills hanging out in my collection, I prefer the bbb in britwoods

That looks about the same size as this wee little pipe I recently got
Sometimes a little pipe is just what you need
Especially when you can’t decide on which tobacco to smoke!
Life round here is full of interruption so a little pipe woks good until I find time for a regular smoker
