I'm definitely more practical/comfortable. The wood grips on it now are perfect. I have big mitts. The resin ones are thin and I can already tell they won't feel right. Yes, I'm that lazy today to remove four screws. Lol

I always replaced my 1911 grips with G10 models that had medium checkering (I mean it was cnc milled but still a larger checker pattern) That smooth, thin ivory resin looks like a nightmare come true

Yes, they don't offer anything. I'm very unsatisfied with them.

welp just looked at the price of bulk 230gr 45 on ammoseek. not even in election year panic (yet) and it's horrible lmao. @Kevin Keith read some Skeeter stuff this morning, thanks again for that link

We had one when I was a kid, a black one. I have no idee what my dad did with it.
I haven't shot it in years, but I intend to as soon as it cools off. I got a new barrel for it as the old one was damaged. Never shot the 10-22 yet.
