Having said that though, I will buy some salted popcorn if I’m at the pictures.
What are pork scratchings?
A traditional pub snack over here, quite brittle & hard on one’s teeth but delicious with a pint of bitter.👍

When we butcher a hog we always make pork rinds.
We make them both ways....just skin and skin with fat. I prefer the fat. :)
We make them mostly for friends and to sell at the market on the weekends.

Another fan of popcorn here, made on the stove. Always experimenting...

When you guys say on the stove, do you mean you put the kernals in a pot or skillet? Someone explain this to me. I just learned you can make it in a pot and we’ve done it a few times but maybe i’m missing something

Popcorn is my second-favorite food. Mrs. King just made me a big batch that will last me a couple of days.

How do you eat it? Butter, salt or with some tinned fish?

But slightly cracked to let the steam escape and not make soggy corn
