To wax or not?

I don't pay any attention to anything being discussed on this thread, but, if I did, I would agree with Ruff. I just don't care enough one way or another. My pipes are workhorses, not show horses. I understand wanting things to look nice but that is beyond my interest. I just pick up a pipe that I know is reliable, pack it, and smoke it until I wear it out.

Good things are wasted on me.

I don’t have a wheel, but you can wax with dremel with some of the buff attachments. Carnuba application looks great for photos and such, but it does wear off.
Any high quality Carnuba paste wax is fine. Renaissance wax is also a great go to.
