Sarcasm can be wonderful, but it's more intelligent older brother is wry wit. Both Canadians and Brits are really good at wry, dry wit. And both also excel at sarcasm. Only, when it comes to sarcasm, you might not know you're being skewered because they can be so stinkin' polite and deadpan while they're doin' it.

Had a mug of black tea...an Indian brand...brewed nice and strong, laced with tinned milk.

I just had some fancy brand of Earl Grey with a little cream in it. I enjoyed it that way so now I’ll have to buy a big jug of my wife’s creamer. I also leave the teabag in the whole time I’m drinking my Bigelow tea.
