When this tobacco was new I didnt really care for it. It had a bit too much Perique for my taste.
Just the other day I popped a jar from 2019 and dang, it is much, much better than what I remember. I seem to like Perique blends with a bit of age. This blend is one of those where none of the component tobaccos over shine the others. Virginia, cigar leaf, Perique, Cavendish and Latakia are all perfectly balanced.
If contemplated on, each of the tobaccos is easily identified and none of them overpower another. When just smoked without "thinking", it just tastes great.
Will I buy more when im done with this near pound I have from 2019?.......no, I will not. There are too many blends I want to cellar. But, this pound will last many years im sure, its not going to get smoked often. :)
One of my favorites. If you want Cigar Leaf, Burley and Latakia, try some Peretti’s 500. It is exceptional. I can send you some when I get settled in.

Working on a bowl of Old Gowrie in a self-made billiard. Had a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in a MM Diplomat 5th Avenue after dinner.

Happy Saturday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob and coffee. We had some overnight rain and a little more this morning. No yardwork today! It's 66 and overcast here, I'm going to move to the front porch.
