That is a nice score!Longshanks wrote: ↑Sun Dec 09, 2018 3:43 pmWell, Mike, I liked looking at yours so much I picked up a similar style on the 'bay for myself. This is the darker stained Dr. Grabow 'Starfire' version, but I like it the same. Probably needs a good buffing, but I'm looking forward to putting some smoke through it.MikeDennison wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 3:41 pm Not a purchase, but obtained this immaculate Grabow Viscount in trade from @Kevin Keith. In incredible shape, with a generous bowl. Looking forward to giving it a try!

This little fella showed up yesterday from stem & briar. It was marked on the site as a sasieni / old england and I'd say that's correct. The old england shield logo is still pretty visible on the stem but the only legible stamping on the stummel is the made in London and a 77. Either way I dig it and I'll be giving it a whirl at today's pipe club meet

This a 2nd hand Peterson Sherlock Holmes Hansom that I grabbed off of ebay last month. I still need to give her a good polishing but she smokes great!
... and you can put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!
Thank you Sir! I got outbid several months ago on a Sherlock Holmes Watson which looks similar to the Hansom, so when this one came up I grabbed it in sweet revenge!!! LOL!

Oh man, I am jealous. That is a really nice Bulldog. You can always tell by the "happy to see you" stem, that the seller is generally not a pipe person. Those folks are the ones I generally have gotten the nicest stuff from, strangely enough.Bruyere_Royale wrote: ↑Fri Dec 21, 2018 12:20 pm I just bought myself a present for next to nothing. A Kaywoodie 99b with some pretty impressive grain all around., sellers pic.
