Re: Any Kayak Hunter/Fishermen?

I have been eyeballing the Striker Plus 4cv or the 5cv. After a few more outings in the kayak, and when the wife looks away from the accounts :P , I will probably get one.

Re: Found my way back!!!

Welcome. Were you a pipe smoker before cigarettes or had you quit cigarettes for the pipe once before? I only ask because I am a pack a day smoker and need tips to kick them. I rather enjoy the pipe but find it hard to get the time to enjoy it, especially at work.

Re: Any Kayak Hunter/Fishermen?

I have a SO kayak (West Marine Caymen 11.5) it is a "budget" kayak compared to a drive kayak. But it has one of the best capacities for size (500 lbs) and balances very well (31 inches wide). I have taken it from salt water (inshore and bays) to rivers for fishing and camping. I'll post p...

Any Kayak Hunter/Fishermen?

So I have been a duck hunter for 8 years now, and fishing as long as I can remember. Most of my experience has been without any creature comforts. This year, I hunted with a friend that had a kayak. Greatest thing ever! No more packing in decoys and gear, or being limited to water depths that don't ...

Re: What do the symbols mean?

I have figured out that green check mark means there is a new post I haven't seen. I am mobile only, and don't have a computer that I can log into public forums on, so hovering is tough. I have looked at the classic view, but am trying to stay "relevant" with new updates. Work told me to m...

Re: Suggestions Are Welcome!

A "How to" section would be awesome. Call it the Codger Corner or something...a place where the experienced guys can give advice to new smokers on pipes, cigars, hobbies...etc. An education section of sorts for those pesky questions that everyone should know, but sometimes forget.

What do the symbols mean?

I am new PSF 2.0 and am still figuring out the new style page. What do the symbols next to the thread titles mean? Some are Xs, -s, and check marks. Some have little yellow dots. I haven't played around in any particular thread yet to notice if the symbols change, but more or less, just curious.

Re: A Lot Has Changed

Welcome to PSF...weren't you in Hawaii before? I'm not the best rememberer though. I have been many places but Hawaii. Montana, Arkansas, Texas, Alabama, Ohio, and Afghanistan are just a few. It's nice to be settled down again for the time being, but you never know when Uncle Sam is going to have y...

A Lot Has Changed

It has been a long time since I have been on PSF...about 3 or 4 years. I still occasionally smoke, but due to different jobs, smoking had become taboo. Talking with a new coworker about all the forms of tobacco I enjoy has rekindled my desire. I had mentioned this site multiple times and started to ...
