Marxman were good pipes and it was possible to get s great one, as far as smoking, but if you were after " nice " or better grain ( or even good grain ) , you'd be hard pressed to find one. Their figurals were quite nice and , imho , their best work Probably one of the best makers was a shop in NYC ...

It's nice to show the arrival pics , so that people can see the box as it changes . A departure photo isn't nessisary, as to keep a surprise

They're night and day ! SWR is very " plain " burley in a near cube cut ... but not really a cube cut , like a cube cut that came undone , whereas swra is a nearvribbon cut and flavored quite a bit . SWR = codger burley . It's killer in a cob. I can't recall how many times I posted SWR / COB/ Coffe...

HU makes a blend that I loved so much , directors something or other . It's a disc blend and is just fabulous becausebit employs burley and not just a va disc like most . It so rocks !

Despite my solemn promise, I'm eyeing a tobacco purchase, to include a pouch of SWR. I have an old pouch of SWRA, which I like very well.
