Re: The Mysteries

Citizen B Thank you for bringing this book to my attention. It stays on my desk and I pick it up often, sometimes to read a few pages, sometimes just to see the artwork. I’ve read through it a number of times and each time my mind makes a connection to the ancient world or the Middle Ages or modern...

Re: What Hand Made Cigar Are You Smoking Today? WHMCAYST™

I did something this week I haven’t done since 1988. Repair a busted nose on a surfboard. I still hate working with Fiberglas. Re: Untried Blends

Years ago I bought a tin or two of something new when I’d place an order for stuff I liked. I’ve got a bunch of tins that have been sitting for several years. One day I’m going to start popping them open. Problem is a good many are McClelland blends so if I fall in love it’ll be a short romance.

Mister Moo told me to “Hit it like a napalm strike” with regard to lighting. He was a gem.

She looks good on you. Glad you are enjoying them. Somehow, I came home from Birmingham with the crud so right now I’m smokeless.

Re: What Are You Reading?

The Operating Manaul for a Cobra 29 CB radio. Yep. My uncle was a truck driver and passed away about two years ago. His wife started cleaning out the house of his stuff and I asked her how many CB radios she had found. So I ended up with he last one he bought. You’d think as much as I’ve been around...

Re: Pickled Eggs.

My only experiences with pickled eggs were the kind you found in gallon jars in beer joints in the South. I was never able to drink enough to be able to finish one. I was not aware that there was a palatable version. I do like pickles; I don’t like boiled eggs.
