Latest Tobacco Purchase 2019

Today I ordered a 12oz tub of Velvet from Smoking Pipes and it should arrive tomorrow. I smoked Velvet about 5 yrs ago and we just didn't get along. Back then I just bought the pouch and I recently read that Velvet is a lot better from the tub. Sure hope I won't be disappointed this time around.

ERR replacements

Yeah, Sutliff is better. Funny thing about both is that they taste like SWR. Which is a good thang. I like SWR, should I just stick with that and call it good? It's cheaper. I smoke the Sutliff version, the Lane version and SWR. I keep all three in my rotation because my tastes will change regardin...

STG version of Granger

The current Granger is so much better then the Pinkerton version. Todays version reminds me of the old ERR. I don't get an SWR taste with the current version of Granger. I have 2 pint jars of the old Pinkerton version that I jarred 6 yrs ago. I'm tempted to open one of them and see if that much age ...

Mostly Burley Almost-Aros

https://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/9427/hearth-home-chatham-manor got some already. Looking for more flavored than that one. Stuff that pushes the line between flavored codger and aro. How about Scotty's Butternut Burley from Pipes and Cigars. It's one of the burley aromatics that you can taste t...

Dedicating a pipe ...

I only dedicate pipes to type of leaf and not to a specific blend.

In my town you'd probably need a permit to smoke this one.

Being a retired law enforcement officer, this pipe would be right up my alley.

1990s Kentucky Club

Great blend. Too bad it's no longer in production. I mixed my Kentucky Club Mild with 5 Brothers and am down to my last 2 ounces. Enjoy your moment.

Dunhill Comeback!

I wasn't going to purchase any of the new Peterson blends but I gave in to my curiosity. I got a tin of the Early Morning Pipe since I've never smoked that one. I don't care for it at all. Just too bitter for my tastes, so it will go in a jar and I'll revisit it in the future after some age on it. I...
