I got this saying in a fortune cookie last week:

"If you pay too much attention to the smell of your beard, you are missing the other things that you'll come across over the course of your day."

I run a small hotel in New Orleans. It's in Louisiana, in case you're thinking of another New Orleans I've never heard of.

One of my favorites is having the aroma in my beard for the rest of a day after my pipe+coffe. I am testing the aroma notes.

Whats you experience & which tobacco aroma you prefer to rest in your beard? :lurk:
I am trying to remember. I think the last three compliments I have gotten with room note have been Picayune, OJK and Fr. Dempsey. I am good with those.

I smoke the stuff to keep her off me.
That's a reply out of "The Lockhorns" comic strip. It's one of the few comics I read every morning. Most of them are just drek. I'm thinking of Marmaduke and Ziggy as I write this. I never read them, even though they are only one panel.

Family Circus? it's occasionally good for a smile.

My wife tells me that anything with deer tongue smells like an electrical short on first light. I have always smoked up samples, but have never restocked.

I can't disagree with your wife... It's definitely a unique scent

Dear Sweetie doesn't usually comment on the beard aroma, unless it's bad. She doesn't like the rugged burleys...they remind her of cigarettes. But SWRA and Macanudo have gotten an "ummmmmmm!" And that's kinda all right. :)
