I'm glad they took care of you and did the right thing. I'm just no longer doing business with them. When I smoked Larry's Blend years ago I delt with them and had no problems.Wildcat wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 7:07 pmYou should have contacted them. I had an issue with a box of Irish cream cigarillos that weren't flavored at all. I let them know that they might want to let the manufacturer know. I told them that while unflavored, they were still smokable and good and that I didn't need money back or replacement smokes. They sent them anyway and didn't ask me to return the originals. I think they did right by me customer service wise. @Ruffinogold can back me up, as I sent him the new replacement box.Tsal wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 5:48 pmI didn't bother asking, I opened them and jarred them.Wildcat wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 11:04 am
Hated hitting like. Agreed, this is an example of poor customer service. I think we should expect more of this from retailers and e-tailers. People just don't give a rip anymore. Not all, but some and the number is growing. Did they replace for you? I should hope so.

I recently discovered that they have paused production of King Edward cigars.. due to covid reasons in the Dominican. This is upsetting.

We shouldn't be surprised should we? Everything else has gone to crap, why not cigars...

I've never tried either, nor the original. I like Sutliff and Lane products. What's better about the Sutliff in your opinion? Would a Velvet man like myself like it? I never got along with Carter Hall, so if it's anything like CH I'd be a no. I wonder if it's at all like Kentucky Club Mild/Blue? That was mucho bueno!Mr Beardsley wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 3:37 pmThe sutliff is better (in my opinion) anywayJlando19 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 3:19 pm Anyone see this yet? I like the taste better of the Sutliff version. However the cut is terrible, packs tight and won’t stay lit. For this reason, I prefer the Lane version. @Wildcat if you like Velvet, you’ll enjoy both versions.

I've never had velvet, so I can't really comment. Luckily Abe seems to be familiar and says go for itWildcat wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 4:33 pmI've never tried either, nor the original.
