No, not really. While there is some minor continuity you can jump in anywhere and bounce around. If you haunt flea markets, used book stores and tag sales, you'll find them, especially if you're not interested in the condition of the books and more interested in the material.
The search is half the fun for me. I just added a copy of Hemingway's "In Our Time" to my search list. Sure I could grab it online or at a book store, but what fun is that?
I wonder if "blame Wildcat" will become a theme here? - Fr_Tom

Richard Carleton Hacker, author of The Ultimate Pipe Book, interviewed the rotund detective. Conrad smoked Amphora Red. He preferred Charatan pipes and had one of the largest collections in existence. Besides his most memorable role as Canon he was also the voice of The Lone Ranger back in radio days.

I believe that Jiminks from the old PSF owns one of Conrad's pipes.

Since you mentioned Semois, have you had any of the Manil offerings and if so which one do you like? I've had only the Le Petit Robin but am thinking about trying one of the others (there's a new one out too).
