I was surprised by the bag note which had more latakia smokiness than I had expected. It's also got a vegetal character. I'm only three bowls into this and it definitely strikes me as a very traditional sort of blend, an old timer's kind of flavor profile. I get a lot of wood, specifically cedar, from the smoke. I'm sure there are other flavor nuances in there I'm not yet getting. It packs and burns fine, and I like the room note from what I can pick up smoking outside. This seems like more of a cold weather smoke than I typically would choose, but as the weather cools I'll keep working on it. So far, I am enjoying it.
Thats a good one. The Plum is in full force for me. A great Cool Weather (like you said) or Christmas Blend

Kopp came out with a few limited blends. They sound interesting. This one made by Country Squire for MM looks really cool too. I love Earl Grey Tea. So it has my interest peaked

Those kitchen sink type blends can be shit or pretty damn masterful . The " good dose of latakia " and the idea of Earl Grey .... how did they do that ? It sounds very interestig but its one Id wait for others to try

Usually the MM Blends fly so under the radar they are available for quite a while.

My thoughts exactly. With latakia it might be more like oolong.

Okay, I'm finally getting around to trying the third of the new-to-me bulk blends that I purchased recently - Voodoo Queen. So far I'm liking it. This is again a latakia blend, which I am not really used to smoking on the regular, so the latakia is very present in the flavor for me. I get a lot of cool wood, a little black coffee/chocolate tang, and I'm not sure what else. It'll take me some time to get acquainted with the other flavors. I like how it burns, fairly cool and easy, and it has a bit of creaminess in the mouth. The burley isn't bothering me, so that's a plus.
Though I'm not really into typical English blends, this is one I think I could get to liking with time and some steady cool weather. It's a little bit aromatic, but not really. An English aro. It's pretty nice.
