Grasmere, Ennerdale, Coniston, Lakeland et al are a realm I need to explore. Closest I have come to Lakeland is St. Bruno, which I really like a lot, so it'd make sense to gateway into the hard stuff. :)
I have enjoyed all the Lakelands I have tried. The only ones I have bought 500 g at a time are Ennerdale and Kendal Flake.

In terms of my "always have a pound in reserve" blends,I will send you to TR.

Anything in my favorites list that can be bought in bulk fits this category. Amphora Red for example, I used to buy in the tubs/cans. It is pouch now and I don't keep it around so much.

Just jump in with Ennerdale or Grasmere. Both are potent offerings in terms of essence, if you absolutely hate them then don't bother with exploring the others as even the unscented stuff would likely offend/confuse you. I would add plenty more GH/SG blends into regular rotation if the availability/price were more agreeable. Cannon Plug....mmmmmmmm. Carfeul you don't get hooked.

Anything I can buy cheap and in bulk. I prefer burley but smoke Virginias too. Really, I'm not picky...at all. As long as I can smoke I'm happy.

Plum Pudding, PS LBF top the list. Also McBaren Navy & Burley Flake. Sutliff J4, 515c, Virginia Slices.

I feel you on the Dunhill Flake. I would have added that to my list and deluxe navy rolls but they are gone. I was fully prepared to replace Escudo with DNR.

It’s a bummer for sure.

I agree with you wholeheartedly on the DDNR replacing Escudo front as well.
