Got this White Summit off of ebay pretty cheap, I really like the shape of the pipe but didn't really love the white paint on it so I decided to strip it off to see what the briar looked like underneath.
Well to my dismay, they'd used a trash piece of briar and filled it with wood filler.
So I chipped all of that stuff out and then refilled the gaps with a non toxic water based wood filler that was stainable.

Nice work! This is really one of the poorest pieces of briar I've seen on a pipe

So now I just need to paint the inside of the bowl with a coating and this pipe will be a good smoker I think, it's got a deep bowl for a generous amount of tobacco.
Sorry for the huge pictures guys! LOL!

... and you can put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!
It looks great - I love the curvy shapes on this pipe, it's alluring. And a large bowl can solve many problems in life, can't it?

Thanks! Yeah, the minute I saw it I loved the shape and immediately saw it's potential. I'm thinking that it'll end up being a part of my normal rotation. The inner bowl measures 1 and 3/4 deep and about 6/8 wide at the top.
