My pedestal ashtray is made of some kind of stainless steel by the Stinky Ash Tray Company, the worst name in the business. It's laid out for cigars but I use it for my pipes, too.
Then, there was the time when I had to use it to stop a crime in progress. That's another story. Never mind.
