Other than the price , I dont think the box changed at all or not much . In the 90s I carried those guys , and other national brands stuff , and a single wasnt a dollar or maybe it was a dollar . So , two for 41 cents wouldnt be way back but back far enough to where a penny had a value . The last I remember a penny having a value was in the 70's
The modern boxes didnt have a price on them but looked just like that , if I recall right . I'd guess 60's or 70's

But ya know , in the 80's .. 2 of those for 41 cents seems like it would be in line . Hell . A William Penn 5 pack back in 80 ... what did that cost .. a buck ? I dont remember but it was the first cigars I ever bought in the late 70's . I didnt like cigars much at first . I cant see me spending much more than a buck on tobacco back then .

The current box isn't that much different. I use mine to stow bundle cigars for easy retrieval.

F.X. Smith is making and selling them, I think. The pigtail isn't the same but the flavor is pretty darned close to the original.

I would say somewhat stronger than the TX Smokers, but not anything to knock your socks off. These were mass market cigars back in the day so they didn't really go out on a limb past pure cigar goodness.

I had a chance to get a few a while back but passed thinking I could get them another day. When I went back,of course, they were gone never to return.

That's really what they look like and I got mine in that box. They are very nice to correspond with if you have any questions.
