A lancero is basically a stretched corona, right?

To be honest I don’t know. I think I like the taste of the wrappers more than the fillers and this seems to be the best construction for that. I get more flavor from a Lancero in comparison to bigger ring gages.

Corona, Panatela, Lancero are all favored here but as noted a bitch to get. I enjoy tasting the wrapper and prefer sticks 50 ring or less. Also I get bored after 30-45 minutes of anything and need to switch it up. If you're looking for recommendations pm, I don't want to start a run on already hard to get stuff. Classic vitola sizes and wrappers are few and far these days, just try to stop somewhere and grab a Candela wrapper corona. At one point the market was flush with them. I don't even bother with Connecticut anymore, the Ave Immaculata is good but I miss real Connecticut shade.

I’m a fan of the candela leaf as well. My first experience with them was with Optimos. When I was a teenager these were the choice for of label use. As an adult when I got into cigars and saw that green leaf on high end cigars I knew I would like them.

I bought like five tins of the little swamp thing cigarillos. Candela wrapper Kentucky fire cured innards I believe. I really loved them. After 3 tins I’ve been giving them away to friends. Lol
