If you use the default theme, previously you had to access search by the quick links dropdown. I have added a static link at the top of the home page that is easier to see and use hopefully. You can thank @Citizen B

while I've always liked the software we use for PSF, there are a couple places where it's behavior is not as good as some of the competing products. Search is one of these.
