I am the total sucker for the gimmick pipe. I bid on a NOS Dawes not too long ago, but it was just wishful thinking. I knew it would go way out of my price range.

We all know that Dr Grabow used to pre-smoke their pipes to save us all from that chore, but few have ever seen the machine responsible in action. I couldn’t embed the video, I suppose the type of video it is isn’t supported here. I have included the following link.

I like the filling technique. It is a dribble to fill with a light thumb. For my purposes the codger scoop works, but this one has merit.
