Genesis was one of the more compelling progressive rock bands, which made the 80s version so hard to stomach

This is pure New Orleans, where the present is the past and the past is the present and the present is the future. This is what life is like here.
This is what it is like to live in a New Orleans state of mind:
They way you know this is pure New Orleans is the security guard at the end. I can't tell how many times I've heard variations of that line.

My man! The 80s took it's toll on many things, music particularly. Genesis, Yes, Starship...ugh. It's funny, if you listen to them after Peter left on ...And Then There Were Three... you can hear they went for a more stripped down rock sound that still had some hint of their earlier stuff but capped it off with Follow You Follow Me, almost like they were setting the tone for the 80s.

Osborne Brothers providing some high lonesome sounds and beautiful harmonies while tending the overgrowth. Yes, I used my machete, the one from Harbor Freight with a saw edge on the back, which was of prime importance against the mesquite tree.
